Ukraine Wins European Snooker Title at Shoot Out
Ukrainian Yulian Boyko from Kyiv won the gold medal at the EBSA Shoot-Out Snooker Championship 2024 in the Portuguese city of Albufeira.
This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
The 19-year-old from Kyiv won four matches on his way to the final. And in the confrontation for the European title, he defeated Craig Steadman from the United Kingdom with a score of 49:5.
Shoot Out is a snooker discipline with special rules. The game consists of one frame with a maximum duration of 10 minutes. The player has only 15 seconds for each shot in the first half of the game and no more than 10 seconds during the next five minutes.
