The full programme of the festival and tickets are available here.
The day before, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska opened an exhibition by Aleksandra Exter at the Ukrainian Museum in New York. The museum's administration announced this on Instagram.
‘We are grateful for their visit and support of Ukrainian art and culture. Together, we preserve our history, celebrate our identity, and look forward to a brighter future,’ the museum said in a statement.
The President and the First Lady viewed an exhibition dedicated to the work of Ukrainian avant-garde artist Aleksandra Ekster, curated by the director of the Ukrainian Museum Petro Doroshenko.
This is the first solo exhibition of Exter's works in North America and will highlight a thorough study of the artist's innovative work from 1913 to 1934. It will bring together some sixty-six works by the artist, including her early abstractions and avant-garde theatre designs.
The exhibition will last until 19 January 2025.
