Ukrainians Win Five Medals at World Acrobatics Championships in Portugal
The Ukrainian national sports acrobatics team won five medals at the World Championships in the Portuguese city of Guimarães.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Ukrainians won 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.
Anastasia Semenovych and Bohdan Ivanyk won gold for Ukraine (mixed pair, dynamic exercise).
Ruzanna Vecheruk and Angelina Chernyavska (women's pair, all-around) and Efrosiniya Kryvitska and Ivan Labunets (mixed pair, all-around) took silver.
Yuriy Savka, Taras Yarush, Yuriy Push, and Stanislav Kukurudz won two bronze medals in the all-around and balance beam.
As a result of the World Championships in Portugal, Ukrainian acrobats won four licences for the World Games to be held in Chengdu, China, on 7-17 August 2025.
Ukraine will be represented in artistic acrobatics in the women's pair, mixed pair, women's group and men's group. The men's pair is the first in the reserve.
