Following Alaska Talks, Zelenskyy Travels to Trump

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is heading to Washington on Monday to chat with US President Donald Trump.
The Gaze writes about it, referring to his social media post.
Zelenskyy said that he had already spoken with Trump and European leaders after the talks in Alaska.
"A long, substantive conversation with President Trump, first one-on-one, and then also with the participation of European leaders. In total, we spoke for more than an hour and a half, about an hour with President Trump. President Trump informed me about his meeting with the Russian leader and the main points of the conversation," he detailed.
Zelenskyy says he supports Trump's proposal for a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, America and Russia.
‘Ukraine emphasises that key issues can be discussed at the leadership level, and a trilateral format is suitable for this. I intend to discuss all the details regarding the end of the killings and the end of the war with President Trump in Washington on Monday. I am grateful for the invitation,’ the Ukrainian president wrote.
He added that it is important for European partners to be involved in all stages of the process and also mentioned ‘positive signals from the American side’ regarding participation in guaranteeing Ukraine's security.
As The Gaze reported earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that he had reached an agreement in principle with Russian President Vladimir Putin on an “exchange of territories” between Ukraine and Russia.
