Horrific Aftermath of Russia’s Mass Missile Attack on Ukraine: 38 Dead, 190 Injured, Children's Hospital Evacuated, Rescue Operation Ongoing
The rescue operation in Ukraine continues unabated after yesterday's terrorist massive missile attack by Russia. In some of the places where the missiles hit, rescue operations did not stop all night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on 9 July.
"As of now, 38 people have been killed, including four children... 190 people have been injured. Everyone is being helped. There are 64 people in hospitals in Kyiv, 28 hospitalised in Kryvyi Rih, and 6 people in Dnipro," the President of Ukraine said.
All patients from the destroyed Okhmatdyt children's hospital have been transferred to other medical facilities in Kyiv.
As a reminder, yesterday morning, 8 July, the Russian army launched a massive terrorist missile attack on Ukraine in several waves. In particular, in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Donetsk region. Ukraine's defence forces shot down 30 of the 38 Russian missiles, the Air Force said. The aggressor country Russia uses Kinzhal, Kalibr and Tu-95 missiles.
Among the objects hit by Russian missile strikes was one of the premises of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital. The building where children were on dialysis was damaged.
