OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Version Tailored for Enterprise

On August 28th, OpenAI announced the release of a new product — ChatGPT Enterprise, designed for large businesses. ChatGPT Enterprise performs similar tasks as the regular ChatGPT, including writing letters, essays, and computer code. However, this version adds enhanced confidentiality features and guarantees heightened security and rapid access to OpenAI's technologies, as reported by TechCrunch.
ChatGPT Enterprise comes equipped with a new administrative console containing tools to manage how company employees utilize ChatGPT. This includes integration for single sign-on and an information panel featuring usage statistics. Moreover, the new version offers the capability to create shared conversation templates, enabling employees to construct internal workflows using artificial intelligence.
Furthermore, ChatGPT Enterprise provides unlimited access to extended data analysis functionality, known as the code interpreter. This tool empowers ChatGPT to analyze data, create graphs, and solve mathematical tasks. Previously, the extended data analysis feature was only available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers, a premium tier priced at $20 per month for users of ChatGPT web and mobile applications. Clearly, ChatGPT Plus remains intact, as OpenAI sees ChatGPT Enterprise as a complementary offering, the company explains.
"Today, we've taken another step towards creating an AI assistant that can tackle any task, safeguard your company's data, and be tailored to your organization. Companies interested in ChatGPT Enterprise should get in touch with us. While we're not disclosing the price, it will depend on each company's usage and deployment scenarios," OpenAI writes in their blog post published on TechCrunch.
The new version operates on the foundation of GPT-4. However, ChatGPT Enterprise clients will receive priority access to GPT-4 with double the productivity and an expanded contextual window of up to 25,000 words. The initial clients to embrace ChatGPT Enterprise include companies like Block, Carlyle, and Estee Lauder Companies.
