Over 6,000 Evacuated Due to Floods in Romania, Sea and River Traffic Suspended
In Romania, more than 6,000 residents of the affected areas were evacuated due to floods, and the weather also affected the operation of ports.

Emergency services reported 6,014 evacuees from the counties of Arges, Brasov, Galati and Vaslui. More than 90% of the evacuations took place in Galati, for which a red warning level was declared.
The evacuation began early, on 29 September. Almost 700 people refused to leave their homes.

All ports around Constanta and on the Danube at Tulcea were suspended due to the weather, including strong winds.
Squally gusts damaged at least 11 cars and two houses in different locations.
