Russian Strike on Kyiv Leaves Two Dead, 15 Injured
Two people have been confirmed dead and at least 15 wounded after a large-scale Russian attack on Kyiv early Friday. A child is among the injured.
The Gaze reports this, referring to the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Officials report that eight victims are currently receiving hospital treatment, while emergency services continue to work at multiple sites impacted by falling missile debris across the capital.
Damage was recorded in several districts, including Obolon, Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi and Darnytskyi.
In the Darnytskyi district, fragments struck the yard of a nine-storey apartment building, triggering a fire on the sixth floor.
Emergency services in Kyiv also reported that a missile strike hit a ten-storey residential building in the city’s Dniprovskyi district, destroying parts of the sixth and seventh floors.
Fire crews managed to extinguish the blaze that followed the impact. Rescuers pulled three survivors from the damaged structure, including a resident with limited mobility.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that rescue crews are responding on the ground.
The attack also disrupted critical infrastructure, leaving the western part of the city temporarily without electricity. Water pressure dropped in residential buildings on the right bank, as utility workers began emergency restoration.
As The Gaze previously reported, on November 25, a Russian air assault on Kyiv overnight has left at least six people dead and nine injured. The heaviest casualties were recorded in the Sviatoshynskyi district, where four people were found dead at the scene of a missile strike.
On November 19, Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, striking multiple regions with a mix of drones, cruise missiles and hypersonic weapons.
