South-East Europe Summit Underway in Ukraine's Odesa

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, and Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović are in Odessa for the Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit.

The Greek government's website states that Mitsotakis “will travel to Odesa to participate in the 4th Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit, which is taking place today, June 11. 

The Croatian government's press service reported that Plenković had arrived in Ukraine for the summit, although it did not specify the venue. The previous summit was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

The statement recalled that this is the fourth visit of the Croatian prime minister to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war, and during this time Croatia has provided Ukraine with various assistance worth approximately €315 million, as well as providing temporary protection to 30,000 Ukrainians.

The website of the President of Montenegro also reported that Milatović has been invited to the summit, which will be held in Odesa. The report mentions that Moldovan President Maia Sandu and Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov are also expected to attend.

Among the guests at the summit will be the new president of Romania, Nicușor Dăncilă, and the pro-Russian president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, for whom this will be his first visit to Ukraine.
