Ukraine and Croatia Strengthen Defense Ties with New Cooperation Agreement
Ukraine and Croatia are strengthening their defense cooperation by signing a Letter of Intent on deepening defense-industrial partnership between the countries.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to a statement made by Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal on Telegram.
On October 27, the defense ministers of Croatia and Ukraine, Ivan Anušić and Denys Shmyhal, agreed to establish joint production chains and cooperation between the defense industries.
The parties also announced an agreement to organize an industrial forum of manufacturers at the beginning of next year, which will intensify cooperation between the defense industries of both countries.
Ukraine expressed its gratitude to Croatia for providing 13 military aid packages worth over €200 million and announced that it expects the 14th and 15th packages by the end of the year.

Moreover, the defense ministers discussed joint participation in the SAFE mechanism and the possibility of Croatia joining the PURL initiative.

Particular attention was paid to the demining of Ukrainian territory: the Croatian company DOK-ING transferred 69 demining machines and started producing spare parts in Ukraine. In addition, the potential for joint production of FPV drones was discussed, arousing Croatia's interest.
The Ukrainian Minister of Defense thanked Ivan Anušić and the Croatian people for their strong support of Ukraine and emphasized the importance of friendly partnership in the defense of Europe.
