The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to organize a closed meeting of the Coalition of the Willing to discuss further support for Ukraine ahead of the fourth anniversary of the full-scale war.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to El Mundo.
The meeting will take place on November 4 in Madrid with representatives from 35 countries participating.
It will be held under conditions of maximum secrecy with no cell phones and no disclosure of details in the media or on social networks. Representatives of the states will discuss financial and military assistance to Kyiv, coordination of initiatives against Russia, and ways to increase pressure on Moscow.
The first part of the meeting will be devoted to determining priorities for assistance to Ukraine, in particular financing for the defense sector.
In the second part, participants plan to agree on a common position on future security guarantees for Ukraine.
Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares will address the delegations but will not participate in all working sessions.
According to Spanish media reports, the meeting may call for wider use of Taurus and Tomahawk long-range missiles to deter Russian aggression.
As The Gaze informed earlier, according to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, Ukraine, the United States, and the European Union are jointly developing a single, unified peace plan.
