The Ukrainian national postal operator Ukrposhta has prepared a special postal block "And there will be spring!" to mark the 10th anniversary of the war with Russia and the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion. This was announced by the company's CEO Igor Smelyansky, Ukrinform reports.
"Usually, Friday for us is for positive news, but today is a special day. Today we are issuing a stamp to mark the 10th anniversary of the war with Russia and the 2nd anniversary of the full-scale invasion. However, we tried to add a little bit of positivity here as well, calling it "And there will be spring". And it will definitely come. And, like all of us, I hope it will be victorious. Even if not this year," the statement said.
The block has a circulation of 250,000 copies. The stamp features photographs that have become a symbol of Ukrainian resistance: "Seizure of the Belbek airport. Sevastopol, 2014" (by Kuba Kaminsky), "Love cannot be stopped! Kharkiv, 2022" (by Serhiy Bobko for AFP), "Light will win! Mariupol, 2022" (Dmytro "Orest" Kozatskyi), "Hands of an Infantryman. Bakhmut, 2023" (Maxim Dondyuk).
