Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha will arrive in Warsaw on Monday for a working visit, a day after a Russian missile strike damaged Poland’s embassy in Kyiv.

The Gaze reports this, referring to a statement made by Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry.

Sybiha’s agenda includes a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings with European and Euro-Atlantic partners, as well as participation in the 12th Warsaw Security Forum.

At the invitation of Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, Sybiha will join a ministerial session in the “Weimar+” format with the foreign ministers of Poland, Germany, and France.

During his visit, Ukraine’s top diplomat will also hold bilateral talks with key officials, including Marshal of the Senate of Poland Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot, Germany’s Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, NATO Parliamentary Assembly President Marcos Perestrello, and IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.

In addition, Sybiha will take part in a high-level panel discussion at the Warsaw Security Forum titled “Raising the Stakes: Should Europe Be Afraid?” alongside his Polish, French, and German counterparts.

“The Minister’s working visit will be focused on mobilizing transatlantic support for Ukraine and increasing pressure on the aggressor, the path toward sustainable peace, Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration, and building good neighborly relations in Central and Eastern Europe,” the statement reads.

The visit comes after one of Russia’s largest overnight attacks on Ukraine. Nearly 600 drones and about 50 missiles were launched in the early hours of September 28, killing at least four people in Kyiv, including a 12-year-old girl, and injuring more than 70 nationwide.

Among the damaged sites was the Polish Embassy in Kyiv, where debris from a Russian missile struck the roof of the consular section and pierced the ceiling, landing in a kitchen area.

No casualties were reported, and Polish authorities said the damage was limited. The consular office is expected to operate normally on Monday.

As The Gaze reported earlier, Poland’s air force also scrambled fighter jets to monitor its airspace during the combined Russian attack.
