Ukrainian Gymnast Wins Medal at World Cup Stage

Ukrainian athlete Nazar Chepurny became the bronze medallist of the World Cup in artistic gymnastics, which is taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan. This was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine on Facebook.
The athlete won a medal in the floor exercise, receiving 13.633 points from the judges for his performance. For Chepurny, this podium was his 10th at the World Cup level.
In total, the gymnast has two gold medals, seven silver medals and one bronze medal.
Another representative of Ukraine, Yuriy Emelyanov, took seventh place in the competition.
The podium of the competition looked like this:
1. Egor Sheremkov - 14.600
2. Milad Karimi (Kazakhstan) - 14.300
3. Nazar Chepurny (Ukraine) - 13.633
On 9 March, Nazar Chepurny will compete for medals in the vault.
At the previous stage of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, Nazar won two silver medals.
As The Gaze previously reported, at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Rimini, Italy, from 24 to 28 April 2024, the Ukrainian national team won gold in the team all-around. The Great Britain team won silver, and Italy took bronze.
