UWC Unveils ‘Heroes Lightning’ Campaign to Equip Ukrainian Special Forces

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) has launched a powerful new fundraising initiative under its Unite with Ukraine program, aimed at boosting the capabilities of Ukraine’s special operations forces through advanced drone technology.
The Gaze reports this, referring to UWC’s announcement.
The campaign, titled “Heroes Lightning,” seeks to provide combat units with high-precision unmanned aerial systems developed specifically for battlefield needs.
The initiative is a collaboration with several well-known partners – The Last Capitalist project, Saint Javelin, and Company Group, and centers on the deployment of a Ukrainian-made fixed-wing FPV drone named “Blyskavka” (Lightning).
This next-generation drone, engineered to support the 8th Separate Special Forces Regiment of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SOF), is capable of carrying up to 8 kilograms of payload over a 30-kilometer range, allowing it to accurately strike enemy fortifications, trenches, and underground shelters.
“Now more than ever, Ukraine’s defenders need tools that provide strategic advantages on the rapidly evolving battlefield. ‘Blyskavka’ is a symbol of Ukrainian innovation built for victory,” said Andriy Potichnyi, Director of Unite with Ukraine.
The “Heroes Lightning” campaign is designed not only to enhance Ukraine’s tactical edge but also to rally the global Ukrainian diaspora and allies around a common mission: helping protect those on the front lines. All donations will go directly toward supplying elite units with the technology they need to stay ahead.
“Drones have become a decisive tool in this war. The more high-tech drones we produce, the fewer chances the enemy has,” said Valentyn Krasnopyorov, founder of The Last Capitalist.
Organizers emphasize that each contribution strengthens the precision, efficiency, and survivability of Ukrainian special forces on the battlefield.
The UWC notes that previous efforts by Unite with Ukraine and Saint Javelin have already delivered 750 FPV drones, valued at over $345,000, to ten Ukrainian military units.
