Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the 20-point plan for ending the war is currently 90% ready, while some bilateral agreements with the United States are already prepared for signing.

The Gaze reports on it, citing various media sources.

The Ukrainian side is working daily on five key documents within the framework of the peace agreement aimed at ending the war, while some agreements with the US are practically ready for signature. Zelenskyy noted that the decision to sign these bilateral agreements depends on the format of upcoming meetings with the American side, but technically, Ukraine is already ready to sign.

The full 20-point agreement involves four parties — Ukraine, the United States, Russia, and Europe. The president emphasized that without the participation of Russia and European partners, signing the complete package is impossible, though some bilateral agreements can be formalized independently.

“However, we do have bilateral agreements. We need to discuss them once again and… I think that in some cases, certain issues can already be finalized,” Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy also noted that part of the documents and decisions depends on the positions of European countries.

“While I am speaking with you, dear journalists, European leaders are writing and calling me. Just as before, when I had the Headquarters (Stavka), I could not stop it out of respect for our partners. I will remain in constant contact with them,” the president said.

Ukraine plans to maintain ongoing communication with European partners, with a possible online meeting to discuss the next steps toward a peaceful settlement.

“I am not sure that we can all meet offline within a single day, but at least we will connect online, and our partners will remain in contact,” Zelenskyy added.

At the same time, the president addressed statements from the Kremlin expressing dissatisfaction with the provision regarding the size of Ukraine’s army at 800,000.

“The army that is currently in place is acceptable for us. These are our security guarantees, and the American side hears us,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

It is worth recalling that on December 24, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy unveiled a 20-point draft political agreement outlining guarantees of Ukraine’s sovereignty, security measures, economic recovery, and other foundations for lasting peace, and formally submitted it to Russia for consideration.

As The Gaze reported earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that preparations are underway for a high-level meeting with US President Donald Trump.
