Another Russian Terror Attack on Ukrainian City of Mykolaiv Kills 5 People
As a result of a Russian attack in the city of Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine, fires broke out in houses, killing five people and injuring one woman. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on social media.
At the same time, the head of Mykolaiv region Vitaliy Kim said that there were fires in residential buildings in the city.
For his part, the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Senkevych, said that Russians attacked Mykolaiv with drones. ‘There is damage to residential buildings,’ he said.
Before and after the officials' reports, local media reported explosions in Mykolaiv.
After 4 a.m., Kim reported two fatalities as a result of a hostile drone attack on Mykolaiv. ‘Mykolaiv. Unfortunately, two people were killed... A 45-year-old woman was wounded and hospitalised,’ he said.
Later, Kim reported four dead. Even later - about five dead.
The police clarified that four residents of a private house (three women and a man) and a resident of an apartment building were killed in the attack.
In the morning, Kim said that the invaders attacked Mykolaiv with Shahed-131/136 drones.
As a result of the attack, fires broke out in a multi-storey building and a private house, which were quickly extinguished.
‘One private house was destroyed and several others damaged, including a multi-storey building. Two cars were destroyed. The blast wave damaged apartments, four shops, a heating network was broken, and there are disconnections from heat and gas supply,’ Kim said.
On 7 and 8 November, Russian occupation forces conducted several powerful strikes in four regions of Ukraine, killing at least 11 people and injuring 70 others.
