Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, known for his pro-Russian views, left for Ukraine on Wednesday for an unannounced one-day visit.

The Gaze reports on this with reference to the press service of the Serbian president.

This is Vučić's first visit to Ukraine. He will participate in the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit. According to Serbian media reports, the summit will take place in Odesa.

Unlike other visits, Vučić's visit was not announced, and the Serbian public only learned about it after the president's departure.

Earlier, Vučić, together with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, were the only guests of Russian President Vladimir Putin from Europe at the leadership level at the Victory Day celebrations in Moscow on May 9.
