Russia Launches Drone Attack on Kyiv for Second Night in a Row
On the night of October 26, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with strike drones for the second time in a row.
The Gaze reports it, referring to Kyiv authorities.
At around 2:30 a.m., the air defense system was activated over the city. As a result of the debris falling on the capital, damage to residential buildings in several districts was recorded.
The Head of the Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, reported that debris from the drone fell on several floors of a residential building in the Desnianskyi district, causing a fire.

According to the Mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, in the Desnyanskyi district, debris fell on a nine-story residential building at the level of the second floor, causing a fire on the balconies from the fourth to the seventh floors.
Also in the same district, windows and doors of apartments in a nine-story residential building at another address were damaged. Five people were rescued.
As the Mayor repored, the demolition of structures is still ongoing.


Debris from the drones also damaged the facades and windows of another building in the same district, and in the Obolonskyi district, they fell on the roof of a 16-story building, damaging one apartment. There was no fire or serious damage reported.
In addition, private residential buildings in the Darnytskyi district were damaged: a fence and at least one car. According to the Kyiv City State Administration, there were no casualties.
The State Emergency Service specified that three people were killed in the attack and 29 were injured, including seven children. Rescue operations are ongoing.
"Every night is a test of resilience that we go through together. And we will endure," the statement reads.
