Trump: Tough Sanctions on Russia Only If NATO Acts Together

US President Donald Trump has said he will impose tough sanctions on Russia only if all NATO countries agree to do the same and stop buying Russian oil.
The Gaze reports on it, referring to European Pravda, citing a statement made by Donald Trump on the social media platform Truth Social.
The American President stressed that only joint and decisive action by the Alliance could quickly end the war.
At the same time, Trump criticized NATO, saying that its involvement in Ukraine's victory was insufficient. If the allies do not meet his demands, then, according to him, the Alliance is just wasting time.
In his statements, Donald Trump again called the war “Biden and Zelensky's conflict,” without mentioning the responsibility of Vladimir Putin, who launched the aggression against Ukraine more than three years ago.
Meanwhile, the US Department of Commerce announced new export restrictions against companies that helped Russia circumvent sanctions.
Starting September 16, these companies will be effectively banned from supplying goods to the United States.
The restrictions apply to 23 companies from China, three from Turkey, two from the UAE, and one each from India, Singapore, and Taiwan. According to Washington, they supplied products to the Russian defense industry and made illegal deliveries to the US.
The US agency emphasized that "entities have been involved, are involved, or pose a significant risk of being or becoming involved in activities contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States."
As The Gaze informed earlier, the European Union is preparing a fresh package of sanctions aimed at tightening the financial and energy noose on Moscow.
