Trump’s Spiritual Advisor Reaffirms Strong Commitment to Ukraine in New Statement
Pastor Mark Burns, a prominent evangelical leader and longtime spiritual advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump, has publicly reiterated his firm support for Ukraine, declaring that the United States “will never abandon” the country.
The Gaze informs about it, referring to his post on social media.
In a published message, Burns condemned Russian drone strikes and denounced Moscow’s broader campaign against Ukrainian civilians. He stressed that justice requires accountability for the suffering inflicted on “innocent men, women, and children.”
According to Burns, American backing must extend far beyond the battlefield. He emphasized that U.S. support will continue after the war, including contributions to rebuilding schools, hospitals, infrastructure, and communities devastated by Russian attacks. “Ukraine’s story will not end in ashes,” he said, adding that the country will “rise in beauty and strength for generations to come.”
Burns also pointed to growing bipartisan support within the United States, highlighting figures such as Congressman Joe Wilson of South Carolina, who has consistently advocated strong American solidarity with Kyiv. The pastor said U.S. leaders are united by “faith, justice, and an unshakable belief that God stands with those who stand for truth.”
Closing his statement, Burns addressed Ukrainians directly: “We are with you. We will fight for you. We will rebuild with you. And together, we will see victory.”
Mark Burns is an American evangelical pastor, televangelist, and political activist widely known for his role in Donald Trump’s presidential campaigns.
He serves as one of Trump’s most visible religious allies, offering spiritual counsel, mobilizing evangelical support, and speaking at major Republican Party events. Burns is also a vocal commentator on foreign policy through a faith-oriented lens, particularly regarding issues of global conflict and religious freedom.
As The Gaze reported earlier, U.S. lawmakers have unveiled the final version of a sweeping defense policy bill that significantly boosts national security spending and reaffirms bipartisan support for Ukraine.
