Ukraine Emerges as Favourite for Future Eurovision After Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil's Victory in National Selection
Today, Ukraine has become one of the favourites for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2024 and is ranked first in the bookmaker's rating according to updated forecasts.

Following the selection of Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil with the song Teresa & Maria in the national selection, Ukraine's chances of winning are 18% among all 37 participating countries.
Ukraine's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 was filmed on Friday for security reasons. Due to technical problems with the voting app, the public voting ended only today, not on Saturday night as planned, which delayed the results by 22 hours.
Among the 11 artists who competed in the National Selection 2024, Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil managed to secure the victory. They took second place among the jury and won the public vote.
Even before the final concert, their competition song had gained millions of plays on YouTube, Spotify and other streaming platforms. At the same time, Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil's PR team worked hard to get as many influencers talking about the track as possible, and bookmakers confidently predicted their victory in the national selection.
And although some fans of the other finalists are disappointed with the National Selection and call the victory of Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil "unfair", Ukraine is currently ranked first in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 bookmaker's rankings.
Ukraine's closest competitor is the famous British singer Olly Alexander, who has not yet presented his entry song and currently has half the chances of winning as the leader.
