Ukrainian Educational Hub to Open in Manchester
A new branch of the Ukrainian educational hub will open in February.
The Gaze reports on it according to Ukrinform.
The organisers note that this space will become a place for learning, professional development, exchange of experience and strengthening ties within the Ukrainian community.
The opening of the hub is scheduled for 13 February and will bring together representatives of the educational community, public organisations, business, as well as the cultural and social sectors. The event is conceived as a platform for professional dialogue, networking and the launch of new joint initiatives, according to the announcement.
The event will be hosted by Yevheniia Zhyriakova, head of the Ukrainian Educational Hub, and Yulia Marchenko, coordinator of the hub in Manchester. The programme includes the official presentation of the Ukrainian Educational Hub in Manchester, an introduction to the partners' initiatives, professional networking and discussion of future projects. The organisers promise a working but open atmosphere, characteristic of the Ukrainian educational environment.
Participation in the opening is free, but places are limited – the event is designed for 70 participants. Registration is mandatory.
The organisers encourage anyone interested in the development, cooperation and strengthening of the Ukrainian presence in Manchester to join.
Ukrainian educational hubs in the UK are part of an international network operating in more than 80 locations around the world, including Ukraine, Europe, the US, Canada and Japan.
The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Institute for the Modernisation of Educational Content and the Association for Innovative and Digital Education.
The first Ukrainian educational hub in London was opened on 8 December 2023. It has become the centre of educational, cultural and communication life for Ukrainians in the British capital. In April 2025, a second hub opened in Chichester, which actively brings together the community in the south of England.
In October the third centre of the Ukrainian Educational Hub in Britain began operating in Oxford. It is an educational and community initiative created to support Ukrainians living in the United Kingdom.
