Ukrainian Hammer Thrower Wins Silver at Oslo Diamond League

Ukrainian hammer thrower Mykhailo Kokhan won a silver medal at the Diamond League stage in Oslo, Norway.

The Ukrainian athlete showed his best result in the last attempt - 79.95 m.

Kokhan was second only to 2024 Olympic champion Ethan Katzberg of Canada (80.19 m). The bronze went to Norway's Thomas Mardal (78.25 m).

This is Kokhan's sixth podium finish this season. Only once, at the European Throwing Cup, did Mykhailo fail to make the top three (sixth place).

As The Gaze reported earlier, Ukrainian Anita Sagdieva became the champion of the doubles competition at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) W15 tournament in San Diego, USA.
