Ukrainian Intelligence: Russia Less Reliant on Iranian Arms Supplies

Kirillo Budanov, head of the Military Intelligence of Ukraine, explained how the situation in the Middle East, primarily the confrontation between Iran and Israel, affects arms supplies to Russia.
The Gaze reports on this with reference to his interview with Hromadske Radio.
‘I'm sorry to disappoint you, but Russia is not so dependent on supplies from Iran. Mostly, only components come from there,’ Budanov said.
According to him, the process has slowed down a bit, but civil society will not seriously feel these delays and slowdowns.
‘Shahid missiles have long been produced in Russia. Therefore, the answer is simple. This will not have any serious impact,’ Budanov said.
As The Gaze reported earlier, the recent outbreak of hostilities between Iran and Israel may have significant consequences for Russia's war effort in Ukraine, as Tehran is now expected to prioritise stockpiling its own missile arsenal over supplying weapons to Moscow, Western officials say.
