Ukrainian Sports Star Mahuchikh Wins Another Medal

On the final day of the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Nanjing, China, Ukrainian Yaroslava Mahuchikh climbed to the podium. She won a bronze medal in the high jump, Ukrinform reports.

The Ukrainian's result was 1.95 metres.

Gold and silver went to Australians Nicola Olyslagers (1.97) and Eleanor Patterson (1.97).

Another Ukrainian athlete, Kateryna Tabashnyk, took 9th place with a height of 1.88 metres.

Last year, Mahuchikh set a world record (2.10 metres) and became an Olympic champion.

As The Gaze previously reported, in February, Ukrainian high jumper, Olympic champion and world record holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh won gold at the Continental Tour indoor stage in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia.
