Symbol of Thousands of Innocent Deaths – Polish Foreign Minister Brings Iranian Shahed Drone Shot Down by Ukraine to US

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has brought an Iranian Shahed drone launched by Russia and shot down by the Ukrainian military to the United States for the conservative CPAC conference.

‘The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington is one of the most influential political events in the world. This year, visitors can see a symbol of the deaths of thousands of innocents - the Iranian Shahed drone shot down by Ukrainians and provided by Poland. Together, we are effectively resisting the axis of evil,’ wrote the Polish Foreign Minister on social media platform X.

The Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington is one of the most influential political events.

Also, on Friday, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss efforts to end Russia's war against Ukraine.

After the meeting, Sikorsky shared his impression that the United States is committed to a lasting peace in Ukraine.

After the talks, Sikorski told a briefing at the Polish embassy that the meeting with Rubio was ‘meaningful and cordial’. ‘It was a good conversation between close allies.’

Polish media also report that Polish President Andrzej Duda will meet with his American counterpart Donald Trump in Washington, DC, today, Saturday. According to PAP, the meeting is scheduled for 13:30 (local time) (19:30 in Poland) on Saturday.

Beforehand, Duda and Trump will meet either at the White House or on the sidelines of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) near Washington, DC.
