Ukrainian Team Wins Gold at Cadet European Fencing Championships

The Ukrainian fencing team has won gold at the European Cadet Fencing Championships in Antalya, Turkey, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine reports.
According to the ministry, Ukrainian athletes Alina Dmytruk, Margarita Angarska, Polina Spyridonova and Valeria Bilous-Gridzhak won a convincing 45-26 victory over Hungary in the final match.
The Ukrainian team climbed to the top step of the podium in this event for the second year in a row.
In total, having won two gold and one bronze medal, the Ukrainian team took fourth place in the team standings of the championship.
As The Gaze previously reported, the European Freestyle Cup was recently held in the Polish ski centre Kotelnica/Biała Tatrzańska. The Ukrainian team climbed to the double podium in the big air discipline.
